Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026
Anamnesis is a research project that turns medical-legal records into a dated chronology for a physician expert witness. This page explains what information the website and the tool handle, why, and what choices you have.
Visiting the website
The public pages do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and they set no cookies. Your browser keeps two small notes on your own device: the colour scheme you picked, and whether you have already seen the opening animation during this visit. Neither is sent to us. The cookie policy lists them.
The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to keep the service running and secure. Those logs are governed by the host's own privacy policy.
Signing in
The tool is open only to the project team and people the team invites. Sign-in uses GitHub. When you sign in, GitHub tells us your username, display name, email address and profile picture. We use your username only to check that you are on the list of people allowed in. We do not keep a database of users: your session lives in an encrypted cookie on your device and ends when you sign out or it expires.
Case records
The tool displays chronologies built from medical records that a legal team provides for a specific case. Those records contain health information about the person the case concerns. They are used only to build and check that case's chronology, and are seen only by the people working on it.
Records are sent to a hosted AI model only when the case's own settings record that this has been approved. Otherwise they are processed on the team's own machines. The examples on the public pages are made up and contain no real patient data.
What we never do
- Sell or rent personal information.
- Use case records to train AI models.
- Share records with anyone outside the case, except where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can clear the two browser notes at any time in your browser settings. If you have signed in and want your access removed, or have a question about information about you, contact the project team at contact@r4insight.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
